Durability
The Durability Test compares Water repellency of Asahi Guard ® Finishing between initial washing and after the 10th washing in "Bundesman Method"* Equipment.
*The Bundesman Method is used to test water repellancy by stimulating heavy rainfall equivalent to 600 mm/hr, falling from a height of 1.5 m for 30 minutes.
Excellent Dry Soil Resistance
Asahi Glass uses the Dry Soil Test to further examine Asahi Guard's resistance to staining. The test is performed between an Asahi Guard® treated and an untreated sample of carpet. 5 minutes of Rotary Soiling Test is equivalent to 10 days of actual office traffic, respectively, 30 minutes is equivalent to 60 days.
